BSOD upon lid close/sleep

Hi,

I am getting a bsod every time I close the laptop lid to put it to sleep. The problem has been around ever since the system was installed on my laptop in the shop where I bought it (the shop closed down in the meantime, so I can't make them fix it).

When I lift the lid, I find the screen on, and computer completely unresponsive. After a while, this is followed by a bsod.
I usually resolve the situation by holding the shutdown button.

The laptop is a new Asus X552E, running Windows 7 64 bit.

I've attached the zip file containing my recent minidumps and the folder generated by SF diagnostics tool. Some unexpected problems occurred during the creation of the latter, so let me know if I should try to create it again.

Thank you!

DH

Run a check for memory problems.

Edit: I've just seen your latest BSOD,BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER,it's probably related to USB driver. What devices do you have connected to the USB?Any external drives?

Maybe you should uninstall universal bus driver and let Windows install appropriate one.

Uninstalled them all.
Still getting bsod.

There is a suspiciously large number of them (11). I think there were 6 or 7 of them before Windows reinstalled them.

Nothing connected through usb. Sometimes a wireless mouse, but lately not even that.

I have had experiences with Asus where the newest drivers would create problems, while an old one would work well. Should I try to completely delete the usb driver(s) and install an older version?

That could work.
