    BSOD Error while attempting to start BF3 (probably Grpahics Card)


    Hi there,
    i used to play BF3 on my laptop without any problems. But later on i installed new hard drive (because my old hard drive went corrupt) and new windows 7 64bit OS . Now as soon as my game attempts to start it gives some DirectX error which i cant see because the computer gets hanged and BSOD Dump comes along every time. Please help me in this case. Here is the info i was able to collect for this dump file.

    you were right about the display driver, first thing to do is make sure it is up-to-date.

    My driver is up-to-date but i dont know why it is still happening ? I can run COD MW2 and GTA San Andreas on good settings on my graphics card but is there some sort of fix for this ?

    hmmm... try this tutorial to see if it is the actual card as opposed to the driver,

    Ok i have tried this software but it isnt detecting my AMD 7670m
    I copied this from the Furmark screen:

    Detected GPUs:
    - GPU 1: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
    - GPU 2: not available
    - GPU 3: not available
    - GPU 4: not available

    What should i do know ?

    Hacb,

    Thankyou for your help, i didnt have to reset the card though but i just installed 14.9v of amd drivers and CCC and I adjusted the lowest possible graphic settings in the Raptr for my BF3. So for the time being the game is running good
