Run Furmark, if the temps goes too high stop the test. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Run MemTest86+, It must be MemTest86+. RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Run your tools that came with the SSD.

Run Prime95, if the temps goes too high stop the test. Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Disable Driver Verifier.

Thanks for the tips. I double checked Driver Verifier was disabled and it was.

I ran Furmark's burn-in test according to the guide you linked me. I got to around 1 minute 40 seconds without noticing any artifacts but my temperature had reached 96 degrees at that point so I stopped the test. Just in case this means anything, I did the 1080 (FHD) benchmark and here are my results: GPU, OpenGL and OpenCL database

I'll give Prime95, MemTest86+ and any SSD tools a go soon.

After my latest BSoD, it took about 8 presses of my reset button before my computer actually started up (nothing would show on the monitor, and my CD drive(?) would make a quick whirring noise every few seconds). This wasn't the first time that my computer has been unable to boot on the first go.

After running Prime95 for about 45 minutes I got worried by the temperatures:

Should I have kept it running? You definitely don't wanna reach TjMAX temperatures, right?

Hmm, it looks like a bad cooler, replace the cooler.

The CPU's fan/s, thermal paste, or both? Do you think my overheating CPU is the cause of all this? Even crashes/BSoDs when the PC is idle?

Also, should I still go ahead with Memtest86+?

Thanks

The CPU should come with a bit of thermal paste. Possibly.

Run MemTest86+, yes.

Ok, 0 errors after 9 passes:

Other than replacing the CPU cooler, is there anything else I should do? Update any drivers?
