In device manager, choose to install from the PC.
unfortunately the 'new' driver is the same version as the one i have apparently Rosewill.com - Computer Case, Power Supply, Computer Accessories, Networking, Peripherals. Price, Quality, and Services.
and unfortunately wont update the athrx. now I'm lost
sorry about the slow reply.
would getting rid of this wireless entirely fix this problem?
Try to remove the driver and reboot the system.
Windows should automatically install the driver.
it occured to me windows wouldnt be able to find the driver once i went offline. so i reinstalled it manually from the driver cd instead of the auto install file on the cd. the driver also came with a file which seems to give a lot of info. hope this helps.
it was originally a .inf(setup information) file.
You can try to downgrade it, although it isn't recommended.
I tried all that. currently havent run into an athrx.sys BSOd but lately my BSODs have been 3B win32.sys error. what do? should i upload more dumps?
heres the most recent dm collection. IE and 3B errors
im running the collector again, the collector must have messed up
