    Display stops and apparant BSOD 0x00000116 when installing things to D

    My computer has had some unusual stuttering issues and occasional crashes (although nothing in minidump) while playing games for a couple of weeks. Now I'm getting reproducible (~50% of the time) 0X00000116 BSODs when I download/install games to my D drive (1tb HDD, not boot drive) on Origin (EA games software). This is odd as I thought this code was a graphics error.

    I've installed new drivers, done checks on my hard drive using SeaTools, and a 24hr memtest, and all resulted in no errors. I'll try a ~16hr prime95 starting this evening.

    Hey there!
    Code:
    BugCheck 116, {fffffa800db31140, fffff880057fdef0, 0, 2}

    Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+143ef0 )
    The problem is caused by your graphics driver. Run Display Driver Uninstaller(DDU)
    Make sure you tick the Uninstall C:/AMD and C:/NIVIDA folders while you are in DDU when you are done running DDU install your graphics driver again and you should be good to go! This is the guide for DDU: Display Driver Uninstaller: How to use
