DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I just bought this dell e6420 laptop refurbished off of newegg. It was just delivered today and I'm pissed that it has BSODs, but before I send it back I want to see if I can fix it. It BSOD twice during shutdown, and two other times randomly. I tried to update all of my drivers with the ones on the dell website and I even updated the bios, but no luck, of course I didn't install all of the drivers from there because there were some installed that were newer than the dell ones. I tired uninstalling the free trials of software that was included so I would have a clean install of windows but this also did nothing. So I decided to come here. Please Help!

2. Uninstall the driver from device manager:
- Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
- In the "Computer Management" window that opens:
- Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices.
- Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
- Select one Intel device item under it, right click, then uninstall.
- Repeat the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
3. Now restart the computer.
4. Once booted, Windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

I do not see Intel Rapid Storage Technology under my list of programs to uninstall, since starting this topic I downgraded some of the intel drivers to the versions listed on the dell website and the laptop seems to be running smooth, used it for hours and haven't had a BSOD yet, is it possible that the dell drivers uninstalled it for me? I am hesitant to uninstall any drivers from the device manager if Intel Rapid Storage Technology is already gone and the BSODs have stopped, if I get another one I will try it. Is there anyway to test if the BSODs have stopped instead of just randomly waiting for one to happen? I just want to know if the problem is really fixed, if it's not I'll follow your instructions.
