so i just updated the bios there was one update left and the description of the bios update was system stability could that possibly fix the bsod? i ran the driver verifier pretty much all day and had it on while comp idled all night and no bsod occured but what would happen if i picked all the microsoft drivers in the verifier? would that be bad or would nothing happen? or would it maybe give a clue on if something is wrong if i bsod while it had those selected?

Windows drivers are rarely the real cause and are only updated through Windows Update.
They can however be verified with the System File Check utility in an admin command prompt so you won't need verifier to check them

Please keep verifier running.
It doesn't always catch the driver and sometimes it is needed to run verifier a few times to get all the drivers.

BSOD randomly occuring
I've been experiencing some random BSOD that are occuring a lot more frequently. I'm not familiar on how to read dump files. I'm hoping someone here can help me figure out what is causing this issue. I'm guessing it's a driver but i'm not sure which one. I ran driver verifier and was able to...

BSOD occuring randomly
Have yet to notice any pattern to recent BSOD occurrences. This is a different computer than my previous post 500+ days ago, so I hope I am justified to start a new thread. I glanced in the Eventsys.txt file and see a lot of references to Carbonite.

BSOD occuring randomly don't know the cause
I've been having BSODs occuring randomly for the past few days now, from opening a page or loading a game, the BSOD could happen- I don't think there's also an interval between each BSOD, also, I don't hear any beeping and such created by the CPU, but I've never managed to get a proper look at the...
