Blue Screen Crash

Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite P755 with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit laptop. I'm trying to transfer VHS to DVD with a Roxio VHS Transfer DVD Plus. The software loads fine, but when I plug the Samsung VCR into the port, I get the blue screen and windows crashes. I don't understand because I have all the right connections from VCR to laptop, software loads fine. What am I missing here? Thanks.

Computer tells me that. I think it might be the webcam because it's done it since I got the computer back from sony and one of the problems they "fixed" was the webcam. It happens when I use the webcam as well.
