BSOD Net issues,System Service Exception/Driver irql not less or equal

Hi everyone, I always lurk around these forums for many a computer issue throughout the years, but after several BSODs rampaging through my system for the last few days, I decided it was time to make an account and get some direct help.

The BSODs are not a normal occurance. It started this week, happening just before I'm browsing the web (Firefox) normally. A "Content Encoding Error" page shows up after some random interval, and it seems that the BSODs happen right after I reload the page a couple times.

The messages that usually show up are Driver irql not less or equal or System service exception.

Naturally, I tried some basic remedies, like booting up the Safe Mode and scanning for malware with malwarebytes or adwcleaner, but no dice. I thought it would be a driver issue, and updated all of them through Driver Booster (Iobit).

I've cleaned with CCleaner, so the dump files aren't all that impressive, but I can't understand a lick of it.

I've attached the minidump file below. Let me know if there's anything I can clarify.

Thanks, you guys are the awesome!

Hi allemandi,

Before we proceed:

I don't really know what this is, but I do know this doesn't belong in the hosts file.
Please remove it.

Right, sorry about that, axe0,

That was just some leftover bug fixes for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed II.

I'm reuploading an updated minidump.

Thanks!

Have you recently cleaned your pc?
According to the title of the thread, you have had multiple crashes, but only 1 has been recorded.

Quote:
updated all of them through Driver Booster (Iobit).
warning   Warning
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
Please remove the drivers as it may cause trouble.

With laptops, ONLY install drivers from the manufacturer.
The manufacturer alters the drivers in such a way that you are forced to install their drivers for normal functioning.

The cause of the saved dump is the network driver.
Please check your manufacturer for driver updates.

Right, so I've removed the old wireless network drivers and reinstalled the ones from the manufacturer website.

I haven't had a blue screen so far today, so hopefully that means it's fixed?

Well, I just had another BSOD a few minutes ago.

Guess it wasn't fixed, or maybe there's more than just network driver errors.

Any further advice? Thanks!

The cause is the network driver again.
It could be possible there are some remainings from IObit left.
Please uninstall the drivers and reboot.
Windows should install the correct drivers automatically.

Right, so I did uninstall the WLAN driver and reinstalled through Windows Update.

All was fine for a few days, then I had two BSODs today.

Am I doing this wrong? I'm attaching another new minidump.

You are certainly not doing it wrong
The problem with network drivers is that they might not be causing it, but are blamed because of a 3rd party driver.

A driver from Teamviewer is quite old, I however don't see Teamviewer installed.
I might be mistaken, but if you do either check the program for updates or remove it.
Code:
0: kd> lmvm teamviewervpn
start end module name
