BSOD. USB ports seem to lose power.
Hello everyone,
Since a few days, I'm encountering a rather annoying problem on my desktop PC. My keyboard (and other USB items) often does not work upon start-up. I can use it to go into BIOS, but it stops working when I have to sign into Windows. Note that these USB items work fine on my laptop. Sometimes they do work upon start-up, but lose power after an hour or so. Trying to restart takes forever ('shutting down' screen takes about 15 minutes before generating a BSOD - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - details in ZIP).
I've also uploaded a printscreen of device manager (sorry for the Dutch). No exclamation marks for USB, however I do see one exclamation mark next to video controller. Not sure what this is. It says the drivers are not installed (Code 28). I'm not even sure what hardware device this concerns.
Further info: the USB legacy option in BIOS is enabled.
My next and final attempt would be to reinstall Windows, as nothing else has worked so far and I'm not quite that IT savvy. In other words, you guys are my last hope (:
