Win 7/64 BSOD after starting PC

    Can you please tell me where i can find btfilter.sys in the device manager. Got the Intel updated...can't figure or find the atheros in the device manager to look for the driver. TIA

    Btfilter.sys is the bluetooth driver

    Found update for btfilter....and uninstalled Avast....we will see what happens...Thank you again for your time and patience.......

    Back again i'm afraid.....Now when i try to put the pc in sleep mode get the BSOD. Have tried to change power settings, but it will not save the power settings....trying to put it into "never" sleep...Think it might be the driver iusb3xhc 4.0.2.42 (dtd 9.25.15) Thanks again for your time

    If there is any USB connection, please disconnect the devices.
    Exception for mouse and keyboard.

    Please fill in your system specs
    Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling system and other stuff you are using.

    Check My Specs


    Unable to figure out how to attach....but if you will check my specs in my user profile you will find the information....for some reason it showed AVAST...but uninstalled it yesterday...


    It now appears my power setting are sticking.....but still can't put it in sleep mode...guess i will just have to settle for the way it is...thanks....
