    Explorer.exe crashes a few times a day.

    Event Log displays the following error below every time it crashes. I enable dump files via the registry fix in the main post. I used ShellEXview and disable the 3rd party recent ones and tried SFC /Scannow. attached is the dump file. I really cant figure this one out I used windbg to open the dump but it doesnt show anything? maybe I'm using the wrong app to analyze?

    From your dump possible suspects are:

    SugarSyncShellExt.dll

    msvcr90.dll

    googledrivesync

    So update SugarSync. If no update is availabe - disable it's startup entry and reboot (for test purposes).

    Why do you need Google Drive Sync if you've got SugarSync?

    RE: msvcr90.dll -try placing a copy in your system32 folder if not already present.

    Disable Google Drive from auto-starting and just start it manually when you need it.

    Update your VC++ and make sure that you have removed all VC++ versions, rebooted then reinstalled these:

    VC++ 2005 SP1, VC++ 2008 SP1, VC++ 2010 SP1, VC++ 2012, VC++ 2013 and VC++ 2015.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a shot and let you know the results. Sugarsync is used by my company and google drive is for personal use.
