Very odd BSOD 0X00000124 crash

Hello all

Long time lurker (when i have had issues before) first time poster! Some fantastic members here that really do know how to help people so hoping i can be one of them.

I own a dell XPS M1730 (old i know, but money is having to go towards other important things now). Has worked perfectly for me with no issues until the other day. I was watching a youtube video and then all of a sudden my computer went to a blue screen and turned off.

Now everytime i boot it, i get the windows 7 logo, and it goes straight to a blue screen that says "A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer"

Under the "technical information" part at the bottom i get error codes:
"STOP: 0X00000124 (0X00000000, 0X8853E028, 0XB2000040, 0X00000800)

I have taken a stick of ram out and tried both slots and it still doesnt boot.

The very funny thing is if i put in my bootable windows 7 USB, i can perform a clean install and the computer will work fine and will be ok for a day or two and then boom back to the same issue. I am also able to boot into safe mode, even when getting this error.

I have resorted to even going back and doing a clean install with windows vista, but again, works for a few boots and then back to the same old thing.

Is my computer beyond repair? I dont want to necessarily have to spend money or buy parts if i dont have too, Its just getting annoying having to lose all of my data and spend an hour or so doing a clean install of windows every time i need to use my laptop. And with football manager 2016 just coming out, really itching to play! haha.

Im kind of a computer "newbie" so apologies in advance but any help is very much appreciated

thanks in advance
