Multiple BSOD's Browsing Online, error 0x0000001E
Hello, I have visited this forum many times, however this is my first post. I have never posted to a forum before, so please excuse me if I make an error.
My issue it that I was online browsing Facebook a couple weeks ago when suddenly and with no warning my screen flashed with distorted lines, then went blank, and finally showed me a BSOD error screen with error code 0x0000001E (0x0000000000000010A, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000).
Being as the first time I received a BSOD on this PC (built only 4 months ago), I decided to try rebooting, which worked fine. The next day, the same thing happened again. It randomly occurs without any warning whatsoever and always when I'm online.
I contacted a trusted friend who is knowledgeable about gaming PC's (I am new to gaming PC's and newer PC technology, and he helped me get the parts and build this) and he discovered that the motherboard BIOS version was outdated and couldn't properly run the CPU the way it needed to. I carried out a BIOS update and the computer seemed to run much smoother and the fans were even much quieter. After that was successfully accomplished, I also set up my GPU/APU Crossfire successfully.
Everything seemed OK until a few days after that when I received another BSOD that was totally different than the others. That BSOD Error was 0x000000D1 (0x0000000000000010A, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF88002969OE1)
That second BSOD also said: athrxusb.sys - Address FFFFF880029690E1 base at FFFFF880028F3000 and "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"
I still receive BSOD's on a daily basis, often when the computer hasn't even been on for 10 minutes. Obviously, it is getting frustrating and my lack of skill with this newer stuff is making it harder for me to figure out the problem(s).
I believe these issues are caused by my video card, (possibly a bad driver for it) however I'm not certain and I have tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling it and updating the software/drivers to no avail. It was a brand new card when installed just a few months ago but I have heard of numerous people having the same or similar issues with this card. Any help/input is very much appreciated. Thanks!
