BSoD occuring on almost anything that requires graphic processing

It's been happening for last 2 months, with frequency of it shortening every single time.
Initially, it started to happen after playing Call of Duty: World at War. The screen was frozen once in a while I was playing CoD (I was running with maximum graphic option but with little cooling, so I don't blame that). However, it later moved onto other games while playing League of Legends or Starcraft II, and it got to a point that it was unbearable to play any games, and I have reinstalled Windows 7 (Previously, it was W8.1).

However, even after downgrading the OS and reinstalling everything, the problem has become worse. Instead of freezing the display (for W8.1, every other function would still work, except I couldn't use display at all), now it is causing the entire system to go into BSoD state. It is now crashing even if I play Hearthstone, which really doesn't require an intense graphic processing.

I'm trying to follow the recommendations on the internet, such as scanning malwares and checking driver updates, but they doesn't seem to solve the problem.

Any insight on it would be greatly appreciated. I'm really new when it comes to troubleshooting a computer.

Hi ho Caladbolgll and welcome to sevenforums, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here!

Just doing a quick look at your dump files and yes it is definitely a graphics card issue and I would recommend you to use e.g. Revo Uninstaller and uninstall the graphics drivers, reboot and reinstall the fresh ones! And you can follow this guide:

    Cheers!

    Hello BorisTheAnimal,

I tried to reinstall the driver via your method, but I've again faced another BSoD with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. In addition, there was another BSoD immediately after when I restarted.

One thing to notice is that I do not detect any crash when I disable my NVIDIA graphics card (even when I was running W8.1).
