    New PC Random BSODs

    Hello,

I just bought a bunch of new parts and i'm randomly BSOD'ing. I swapped the RAM with a different module and still ended up BSOD... I'm leaning towards a bad memory slot.

I didnt get a chance to write down the error code.

OS - Installed Windows 7 via USB (i've done all my installs on the same usb/image)
    CPU - 4690k
Motherboard - MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition
Memory - First tested with ADATA 8GB Ram, then tested with GSKill 4GB DDR3 Ram. Both BSOD.
HDD - Samsung EVO 250 500GB (Installed AHCI)

installed chipset drivers, no available BIOS update.

    Thanks!

You are running a Dell Product ID (PID) on an MSI board
    This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.
    Code:
    OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
    OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
    Registered Owner: W
    Registered Organization:
Product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00400 <-- Dell PID on MSI board
Original Install Date: 12/23/2015, 2:08:17 AM
System Boot Time: 1/6/2016, 11:38:46 PM
    System Manufacturer: MSI
I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.
