You're welcome, Steve... and thank you for all your help on the matter. So far, so good on the fresh install from the Digital River download to the Samsung SSD...Updates are finally very near complete. Yesterday was a bad day to do Updates, as I believe it was 'Patch Tuesday', and I believe M$ is dedicating servers to newer variants of Windows...just a guess, 'sposin'.
