If that did solve the problem, would it definitely be the SSD or could it be the SATA cable or the motherboard port?

Thanks a lot for the advice, are there any SSD manufacturer's that you'd recommend? And will MSE be enough as an AV or are there any better paid ones out there?

If the test remains positive then your issue has been narrowed down to either faulty SSD, faulty sata cable, faulty sata port on your mobo, or faulty mobo, its gonna be a trial and error process to deduce which one

I have about 13-14 SSDs ( I don't know for sure) The majority of mine are Samsung 850's. In my personal opinion, they are the best.

Put my new SSD in and things have been running smoothly for about 3 days now, so I think everythings sorted, thank you to everyone that helped out here, sorry it took so long! I'll go ahead and mark this as solved.

Frequent BSOD with various errors and odd noises.
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit Built and installed 2 years ago. Full retail BSOD happens unpredictably, more often when doing something graphic intensive but not always. The audio usually loops for a few seconds until the machine reboots.
