Random BSOD error atikmdag.sys

I have run the Lenovo system checkups and everything was fine on that side. No other anomalies or odd events have led up to the BSODs. Today was my 4th in about two weeks.

Hello Andy and welcome to Sevenforums!

The CAUSE of all the BSODs was shown as atikmdag.sys which is part of the ATI Video Drivers so please update those first to see if the issue clears.

Check with ATI Drivers (manually). Get the Catalyst Drivers here
Gaming With AMD

Cheers /Boris

Well,
It lasted one week until I received my latest BSOD with the same error message. I'm at a loss now of what to do.

Even though it gave the same message could you still upload the new dmp files, just to be sure!

Ironically, I received another BSOD while creating this report. This one is post-BSOD.

Hmm, after a quick look it still seems to be that atikmdag.sys is the culprit.

You'll need to uninstall everything from AMD, I would recommend that you would use Revo Uninstaller and when you are done with the uninstalling I would like you to visit the link I posted earlier, download the drivers save them to the desktop reboot and when rebooted install the drivers and see if that works.

Also run memtest86+ for at least 8 passes, just to be sure:
RAM - Test with Memtest86+
