Ok so I got the exact ram I have : g skill ripjaws DDR3 2133mhz 1.6v F3-2133C10S-8GXM

But when I look it up I find ones that look the same but with a D where the S is in the model number. I don't know if that matters.

What I'm try to illustrate is exactly what you have for a system.

If the proper hardware isn't used in the proper fashion you and axe0 will be going in circles.

My post #34 shows what ram speeds Intel recommends using with your processor.

I'm trying to make sure you have hardware that will work with each other according to the manufactures specs.
I trying to verify that you have your two sticks of ram installed in the proper location on your motherboard as per the motherboard manual.

You say you have 2133 MHz ram installed I want to verify that. I also what you to check if the ram is installed in the proper slots as per the motherboard.

***Do you have your motherboard manual??***

Such as this example of your motherboard manual page 1-15.

I will be gone for a few minutes. Some bad things tried to get into my system while looking up things about your system. I need to do some scans.

Ok thank you ill have a look at the manual in a few minutes but from first glance I see one is plugged into the 2nd slot and the other in the 4th slot. I just checked my brothers PC since we have very similar ram and his is running at 1066mhz.

Ummm ya wtf I just used my manual and typed in the link to the video on how to make sure the ram is correctly installed and it popped up a bluescreen webpage saying your computer is at risk and spamming these pop up windows.... I had to shut off my computer to stop it. Weirdest thing ever.

I nor axe0 care what another compute has or is running at.
We are concerned with your system.

Dimm #2 and 4 slots are correct.

If you still have BSOD and (if) your parts are correct and no body else has any more advice you will probably have to do as you thought and replace the cpu. That is a very costly Maybe.

When Billy Joe and his sisters boy friend start throwing parts at a computer it's very hard to troubleshoot a computer problem from behind our keyboards.

If you have question just ask. If you want me to go away, I can do that also.

If any body cares so far my other computer is running scans with no problems so far. Some damn ransomware tried to get in.

Your bios is probable at default and that ram speed is default.

That is why I ask you for the exact ram you have and a website I can look at your ram.

Your motherboard can handle 2133 according to it's specs but I'm not sure your cpu can. No two system even with the exact same parts can be set (over clocked) the same.

I want to know the exact ram you have!!

When I look up my ram I only get 3 results on google. With its model number it is not existent but the model number is correct. I found 1 other person with my exact model on another forum looking for exactly what your asking of me but it has not been solved. There is no webpage with my exact ram.
