Random BSOD possible indicative of other crashes I've been having
Here's the full story:
I recently built my PC from brand new parts, listed below:
- AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Cores CPU
- Gigabyte 970-UD3P Motherboard
- HyperX FURY Series (2x 8GB) DDR3 1866MHz
- EVGA Nvidia 750Ti 1020MHz 2GB GPU
- Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD
- Corsair 750W Modular PSU
- Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
The Windows 7 install went smoothly to the SSD with no blips or crashes.
However, I have experienced these symptoms since:
- almost everyday when I start my PC, at "windows starting" (windows symbol) it crashes, either freezing or restarting itself. This happens usually 2 or 3 times before successful boot to windows. I should point out that this is usually only at the start of the day, rebooting in the middle of the day and it almost always boots fine.
- Graphical artifacts on the screen with freeze. These happens pretty rarely, once every week or so. They can occure when booting the system or whilst using the system.
- Freezing whilst leaving the system idle for a while. When I'm away from the PC for more than 20 minutes, sometimes I return to find it frozen.
- BSODs - these are rare and can happening whilst booting the system or whilst using it. I've attached a minidump file if anyone can put it through WinDbg?
Here is what I have tried so far:
- Reinstalled OS
- Cloned OS to a HDD
- RMA'd the GPU for a replacement
- Moved GPU to other PCI-E slot
- Tried RAM one stick at a time
- Tested RAM with memtest
- Replaced the PSU
- Added a fan to the case and reseated the CPU with new paste
None of these processes changed any of the bad behavior of the PC. btw - temps look fine for all parts when I've monitored them.
I'm pretty much at a loss, I've run out of ideas. Hopefully this BSOD minidump can shed some light on what's wrong.
Many thanks.
