In my case RAM not work in 1600 MHz frequency, I put in another two stick of RAM with 1333MHz frequency, and problem gone. PC working steadily, tested 48h and no BSOD.

But https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5...pecifications/ says ....

So XMP should not be a problem there, as it appears.

Anyway, if it runs stable then all is well.

EDIT: A closer view reveals:
** DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600, it is suggested to use one DIMM per channel
There are 4 slots, 2 channels. And you are populating 3 slots, first, third and fourth. And here it contradicts.

Your observation is right. Either you have to stay at 1333 MHz or you have to remove one RAM stick.

Still, dont overlook the PSU. 400W is insufficient as your calculations revealed.

It is nor understanding, mate. It is reading.

1600 MHz should work there, under a caution given by the board manufacturer that 1600 MHz will work when one DIMM per channel is used. And you have populated both the DIMMs of a channel.

And here it contradicts.

I use two stick of RAM in slots #1 and #3 with 1600MHz, and get BSOD, now I put another two stick of RAM with 1333MHz in slots #2 and #4 with 1333MHz.
