Happened again. I want to wait a few more days before I post the log, so it happens again and we can eliminate a few other things. I also changed the settings for updates for Windows as it might auto restart and cause the BSOD in the middle of the night during updates.

Me - totally grasping at straws !!!

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them
Recommended updates - checked
All users can update - checked
Microsoft Update - checked
Software Notifications - not checked

It seems to crash during the day, I leave for work and come home and it's shut off. Always leave it plugged in and left on.

Nothing yet, but I also found on a different site about how it may be a BIOS issue with Acer. I thought I had the most recent update (2012) but I decided to download it just in case and I installed it and it was updated from v1.21 to v1.3. I also revered back to factory settings with all of the power options, in case that had something to do with it.

Fingers crossed. If this doesn't work, I am just going to power down my computer every time I am not using it.

Not sure as I am not at home. When I leave, the computer is on (no sleep or hibernate mode) and when I come back it is completely powered down and prompts and advanced boot on restart (Safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt and start windows normally).

After restart, it says the computer shut down unexpectedly and offers

I thought I was good with the new BIOS and default settings for shutting off/sleep etc. Whenever I walk away from the computer, I save everything and put the computer to sleep and when I return, I move the mouse button and had no issues until today. I had to move the car and came back to this screen. Also attached is a log with the last 5 dumps. Could this have anything to do with having two monitors hooked up, one via VGA direct to monitor and the second via HDMI to a MDMI/VGA converter to a second monitor?

I don't know much about VGA, HDMI and such so I can't say anything about it.
I can say that the last crash was caused by following driver, it is a bit old. I would recommend to update or remove related stuff.
Driver Reference Table - npf.sys
