thank you much and will do.

I did some research on my motherboard & CPU. I found many people that had crashes like mine. the problem they found was insufficient CPU core voltage set in the BIOS. not sure if this something that could be an issue on my computer. 1 person said he solved his issues just by raising the default Voltage up to 1.4V. I have never done anything like that and not even sure if it would help. what are you thoughts?

My thoughts are empty when it comes down to a more advanced BIOS than my BIOS (basically everyone has a more advanced BIOS, my BIOS has very limited options).

Lets first check what the voltage is, boot in the BIOS and post some screenshots/photos of the BIOS settings.
I believe what we're looking for is the vcore in the BIOS.

A 0x4A is commonly caused by Bitdefender, in most cases this is resolved with a repair installation of Bitdefender

I'm very glad to hear that

I would recommend to create a system backup first before moving on to Windows 10, one that is often used is Macrium Reflect
Backup: Imaging with free Macrium
Recovery: MACRIUM REFLECT - Create Bootable Rescue USB Drive

Please note, the tutorials are for older versions, if you have any questions or cannot continue with a tutorial please do not hesitate to ask.

BSOD random daily past 4 days
This is a 2 year old machine that has been running well. I can't think of anything major that is new other than installing Office 2013 about 2 weeks ago. Typically BSOD occurs when I'm away from the machine rather than during specific activity. Not seeing other error messages and no performance...

Constant BSOD the past few days
Hi guys, I've been getting some pretty annoying BSODs screens the past few days. It usually happens when I'm playing games on my comp but there was one case where it happened when I was browsing the net. It didn't happen before when I played my games but now it's popping up almost every session.

Hello, This is a newish computer (Built in July 2009) and up until a few days ago I haven't had any issues with it. For whatever reason though, while I was playing the Starcraft 2 beta, it crashed to BSOD and had to restart. The event viewer was largely unhelpful in figuring out the problem, so...
