Update the BIOS to version FC
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-M68MT-S2 (rev. 3.1)

Temporary remove Bitdefender and use Windows Defender as alternative while troubleshooting.

I can't update my BIOS to version FC because the files (from the GA-M68MT-S2 site) are not compatible with my computer

That may be because of the difference with the rev., if you look at your motherboard in the case what does it say?

Then the download should work, I posted the link for rev 3.1.

What message is it that you get exactly?

The program or feature "\??\C:\Users\(user name)\Downloads\BIOS\FLASHSPI.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

    so it says.

That sounds like a 32bit version, but I don't see anywhere 32bits or 64bits downloads or something.

Would flashing the BIOS would solve the same thing or not?

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-M68MT-S2 (rev. 3.1)

There it says "reflash motherboard BIOS".

The link you got me doesn't have that reflash button/link.
