Windows 7: BSOD and Startup Repair Unable to Repair This Computer

I hit F12 to boot into BIOS.

The first option mentioned HDD Disk drive
Second option mentioned CD/DVD
Third option mentioned external drive

I started with the first then tried the other two as well. The first started to say something then went into Launch Startup Repair. The next two went right into startup repair. I'm heading to my daughter's soccer game but I'll post a picture here a bit later.

As I thought, you're not in the BIOS but the boot options.
Before Windows loads there should be 2 keys you need to press, 1 of them leads to the boot options and the other access to the BIOS.

Thank you for the clarification. I did more Googling to figure out how to get in to BIOS. I turned off computer, turned back on, and there it flashed "Press DEL to enter Setup" I did that and it had me choose Windows 7 and then kicked me into Startup Repair again.

In the setup, look for the values I asked for please.

You might want to consider a repair install to see if that fixes things

When I choose "Setup" it immediately launches Startup Repair. I will keep trying to get in to the BIOS screen.

Yes. I turn on the computer, it says "Windows Was Unable to Start" and then launches Startup Repair. I let Startup Repair complete and it tells me "Startup Repair was unable to repair this computer." It asks me if I want to send a report. It gives me diagnostics about the issue too. Then it has me click "Finish" to shut down computer. The weird thing is, if I turn it on, immediately afterwards, it boots up just fine. It used to crash more often but now it seems to only be crashing upon start up. I imagine you telling me to change the power settings on the hard drive helped with that (thank you).

I took screenshots of the diagnostic report from Startup Repair.

Please try running sfc/scannow, but without a reboot.

 System File Check

Please try following:
  • Open an admin command prompt
  • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
  • When it finished follow below
If sfc/scannow says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
