DM LOG Collector Issue

Hi,

First time poster! Let me know if I've done it wrong. I'm trying to post info on my BSODs. When I downloaded the DM Log Collector, my antivirus told me it contained a Trojan virus (HEUR/QVM10.1.0000.Malware.Gen). I just need to know if this is normal before I install it.

Thanks,
Firefly73

That's a false positive. Feel free to download it. Still, I will contact the developer about it.

What antivirus are you using so I can contact them to fix the false positive?

Thanks for the response! I thought it may be a a false positive but just wanted to be sure. I am using 360 Security Center. I'll post my BSOD info tomorrow. Thanks again!

Just to add, if you aren't sure whether it's a false positive or not, use Virustotal.com. They run the file by numerous antiviruses and test it.

Continual BSOD All Day, Unable to Complete DM Log Collector
The problem began this morning on an otherwise very stable machine (Win7 Ultimate, x64). Almost anything I try ends in another BSOD. (Sorry: Title is inaccurate. It took 3 tries to get it to complete successfully.) I'm somewhat tech-savvy but I'm at a loss on this one. Any help would be...

Log collector apps do not work
I am trying to collect the log info for posting here, but neither DM log collector or SF Diagnostic tool will work. They both run to completion, and say the file is on the Desktop, but the file is not there. I have checked for hidden files and folders too, cannot find them. Any ideas? Thanks

Nvidia sure is an efficient garbage file collector
So the other day I was doing some typical computer management. You know, dusting, checking every connection on the hardware side, wiping what the air can couldn't get to. Then I moved onto software. Every month at least once, I like to go into my programs directories ( x64 and x86 ) and see what is...
