Windows 7: W7 upgrade to Ultimate from Home BSOD

Hello,

Upgraded new pc to Ultimate from Home ed. of Windows 7...

Was watching a tv show today with my latop hooked up my Panasonic plasma...and receveived two BSOD's one after the other...

Another dump file....just had another BSOD...seemingly random intervals...but there must be a reason. Anyone feel like pointing me in the right direction?

sorry for bumping this twice...but I really don't know much about computers at all, and am looking for some good advice...please take the time out to give me a little help.

I've experienced this Blue Screen crash 3x before I discovered the drivers that Windows 7 downloads are not the most upto date versions.

Goto the manufacturer website for your components/computer, and download the newest ones manually.

So far that has resolved the issue for me.

When I first did the install, it crashed 3x within 2weeks, since I discovered newer drivers were available, I have managed 2weeks with no crash at all... not even a minor one...

just adding onto leos answer likewise, i BSOD'd constantly on X64 (no issues with X86 wierdly) until i googled the error code, turns out my chipset and graphics drivers were bad, so i went to Nvidia website downloaded the new ones, suddenly no BSOD, no crashes, nothing
