Windows embedded 7. locating BSOD error code.

Hi All.

We had a BSOD on one of our machines a week or 2 ago. we sent the report off to our IT people in Germany. They are now asking for the minidumps and/or Event logs, only trouble is i dont know the date of the crash as i wasnt working that day and i wasnt made aware of it. is there anything in Event viewer or minidumps that will stand out so i can locate reason behind the BSOD.

regards

Rich

Welcome to the forum,

The minidumps would hold much more info than event viewer, there should be a folder in the root C:\Windows\Minidump where they are.

You can use Windbg to view them.
