BSOD - BAD_POOL_HEADER 0x00000019

Hello to all! This is my first post so please bear with me. I have had previous blue screens in the past but have not been able to read the error name in time, this one took time to compile the memory dump; therefore I had finally enough time to read it. This error appeared after defragmenting and prioritizing files with iObit's Smart Defrag 5, and then later running Disk Cleanup for the first time (most Windows 7 updates installed). I did the usual and made sure to delete the 6GB of old Windows 7 updates. Shortly after the cleanup completed, Windows spiraled into a BSOD with the above error. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to our Forum
Those memory dumps give hints not answers. Our experienced technicians are able to piece together the various dumps and other information that you supplied to help you. You gave us only one dump, not very hopeful. While you are gathering other dumps from future BSODs, you can try to fix the problem based upon the one dump that you gave us. Your report points toward Malwarebytes. Uninstall or turn off Malwarebytes and then get back to us. If this does not work, get us more dumps. Report back either way.

Ok, for the sake of the stability of my computer, uninstalling Malwarebytes! I honestly don't get blue screens every day, its more like every week or two if that, so it may be a bit if I can tell you if it works. I will be sure to gather other dumps if my computer blue screens again. Thanks! I wouldn't have thought that would be the problem, strange.

Since then, I have had no problems. I will then again perform a defragmentation and prioritize files with Smart Defrag.

It seems to be fixed as I haven't had a blue screen since! Thank you Richard for your help in finding the culprit. I was worried; a brand new computer bluescreening is scary!
