Random BSOD with Driver Power State Failure

The BSODs are random but seemed to be happening more often and don't happen while I'm working on laptop but when I step away for awhile. I thought it might be while something plugged in to laptop like phone or tablet via usb but when it happened earlier today nothing was plugged in. It never happens while just running laptop off battery but I rarely do run off just battery if any of that matters. Also when it happened today and maybe on past days too...I would notice laptop sounded like the insides were racing.

I found this site through another site that recommended using SF Diagnostics Tool to collect data which I did. Now I see the DM Log Collector tool referenced in your instructions. Not sure which to use. Let me know if the latter is the correct one and I will redo my upload.

Thank you for any help or advice you can provide. Appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions. I have attached the DM Log Collector file. Regarding updating the BIOS, I haven't done it yet but am a little nervous to do based on many saying don't do unless you absolutely have to, and also because not sure which one to do. HP Support site for my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-6173cl Entertainment Notebook PC (I let HP scan my pc for driver updates), shows two Bios updates in addition to a bios tool that can be downloaded. F.1B Rev A released 10/31/2011 and updated 3/1/2016 sp55068.exe and F.13 released 5/6/11 updated 3/1/2016 sp53112.exe. The latter looks like it should be the one to use but the release date is prior to my current bios version of F.1B released 10/5/2011.
Also I forgot to mention, and you may be able to see from the log collector, there are many critical errors in event viewer that show TrueSuite Services being the problem and researching determined it had to do with the SimplePass software for my finger print reader I think. If this has to do with my bsod issue or not, I am thinking of uninstalling the software as I no longer use the finger print thing to log on laptop. Thoughts? Also, saw in the msinfo32 system info section a problem device is Security Processor Loader driver. Could this be why I have the bsod issue?

    Thank you so much.

According to the logs the last crash was a week ago.
Unless that is the one you want help for there is no reason to ask for help :)

Updating the BIOS is risky yes, it can brick a motherboard when something is wrong but I have never seen a BIOS update going bad.

Regarding "According to the logs the last crash was a week ago", I had the BSOD yesterday. Don't know why a log file wasn't created.

I configured my laptop for creating small dump files. If I get another bsod that creates a log, I'll repost.
