    BSOD - storport.sys & ntoskrnl.exe & iaStorA.sys

I've gotten 6 BSOD's today on it's own from storport.sys with the exception of Minidump_2.zip which holds iaStorA.sys.

I've done some research and haven't found anything that has helped so far. I'm hoping you guys can help point me in the right direction.

    Thanks!

It's ok, I've resolved it. The issue seemed to stem from the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver being wack. So I dld some drivers for it and so far so good.

Drivers & Software - HP Support Center.

Which can be found here under Driver - Storage. This part is motherboard specific, I guess:
Drivers & Software for HP Z420 Workstation - HP Support Center.

These 2 driver installs seemed to have fixed the problem. I've kept my computer on for the past 2 days with no BSOD's. Although if it happens again, I'll be back here and follow the instructions.

If your issue truly is solved, glad to hear :)

I gave posting instructions to ensure that nothing important is being missed, such as
    • drivers known for causing BSODs,
    • software known for causing BSODs,
    • Windows Updates missing?,
    • BIOS up to date,
    • If SSD present > firmware up to date?,
    • Storage free space enough?,
    • Error messages in the event logs,

These are a few things that can be relevant with BSOD analysis, most of them are frequently occuring and are essential for checking if it is alright. Even free space on the storage can cause BSODs because then WIndows cannot properly do things in the background that are required for good experience in stability & performance.
