BSOD playing GTA5, error 0x124_AuthenticAMD

Hello people!

How are you all doing? I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking!

Over the last couple of days, here in Cambridge, England, it's been rather warm. Some of you may not think 20-25C is very warm, but trust me, it is when it heats up your bedroom and in doing so heats up your computer. -- That being said; so, I believe my BSODs may have been happening due to the hot temperatures of my flat/apartment, however I cannot be sure. Could I get you fine people to check for me and tell me exactly why my system is crashing during my gameplay of Grand Theft Auto V?

As a side note, I've checked the temperature of my motherboard and CPU and they are fine. Well within the recommended temperatures for efficient operation. (CPU tops 50C on water cooling during the day, usually between 20 and 38C, motherboard about 30-40C). As for the chipset however (SB and NB) I don't know. My UEFI BIOS temp monitor only shows for MB and CPU.

Here is my own check analysis but as I said, I am not sure what is causing it myself.

Hi IoNGeNeRaL,

When was the last time you replaced the thermal paste and checked for dust?

Please remove the ASUS software, it is known for causing this particular crash.

Please update the USB network adapter drivers or remove the device physically.

I've removed everything and updated my display drivers as well as the AMD HDMI driver. Not sure how to update my specific wireless USB adapter though.

A reinstallation should be good too, the driver is kinda recent compared to many others.

Thanks axe! I would give you rep but it won't let me. It says I have to spread rep around before giving you more rep. :O
