BSOD fltmgr.sys+22751 MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Lately my browser has been crashing at random times, sometimes frequently and sometimes not, never doing anything intensive or out of the ordinary. I assumed it was a browser-related error, since they started happening after the most recent update and I'd experienced severe hanging issues about 2 updates prior, so I didn't think much of it. After the third crash this morning, my entire computer just BSOD citing "fltmgr.sys" as the problem. Now I suspect the cause of my recent crashes to be something a bit more serious.

Hi millene,

Please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, the current uploaded one misses several logs.
It should be around a few 100KB, you could check if there are
  1. 18 .txt,
  2. 1 .nfo,
  3. 1 or more .dmp,
files present, if this is the case then all logs are present
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required

Odd... but it had told me it had finished.
This time it appears to have everything that you mentioned.

There is a very old driver present on your system, old/outdated drivers are a common cause for BSODs.
I think this driver belongs to the installed Sonic software, but I cannot say for sure, in any way please check below link of the pxHelp20 driver. Many programs use it so searching what program uses it is a little difficult, please check it yourself to see if I am correct with my guess
pxHelp20.sys programs

Furthermore please check Toshiba for driver updates for the chipset drivers and remove the Toshiba software while troubleshooting.

A standard test for memory crashes:

 RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I'm not entirely sure what I am supposed to be checking. I don't recognize any of the programs in the list that you linked. If you are talking about SonicStage, it is some kind of audio thing I got a long time ago that I'm not sure if I use but was afraid to remove in case it caused problems (because I think it fixed an audio issue when I first got it). Should I just uninstall it?

Remove? Can I remove them without hurting my system? Again I don't knowingly use any of that so if anything can be safely removed entirely I'd gladly just get rid of it.

This is a laptop so I can't remove sticks of RAM to test faulty sticks/slots.

I might not be able to help with audio issues, but I did request to remove the program

Installed software, not from Windows, can always be safely removed

With laptops it can be done, the only difficulty is that you need to know how to open the laptop to switch the stick from slot.
If you know anyone, apart from a computer or repair shop, that can do this for you please ask him/her to do this for you, that would make things a lot easier where you can learn to do it later

I was unsure, because the computer came with these on it. But I suppose that makes sense, Toshiba has nothing to do with my OS.

Okay, I will remove the programs, and will come back if I have any more issues (so far it has only been the 1 BSOD, though my browser continues to crash. I don't know if it is related).

I don't know anyone who can open laptops, and I tried to follow a how-to guide a long time ago for such a thing and it did not help. At this time I am not comfortable with opening the computer.

Thank you for your help.

Lets first find out if there are errors coming up, then we'll see about opening the laptop
