    BSOD-only while Plugged in

I am looking for help with a BSOD. I only get this issue when the AC power is plugged in, when on battery, I have no issue.

I am getting blue screen only on startup, and I can't get it to save a .dmp.

    The code I get is

    STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF880009A8DA8, xFFFFF880009A8600)

I can get the BSOD to happen every time I unplug, and re-plug in the AC power adapter, but if I leave it plugged in, it boots normally.

I have tried burn in tests and memory checks with no results

I apologize about my mistake. It wont happen again. One issue I am having though, is that the dmp files for the last 30 or so BSODS wont save, and were not created. The most I can give you about them, are the code I posted in my first message. I did manage to fix the first 3 BSODS, I think, seeing as I haven't gotten those codes since.

Was the SSD added to laptop? Is the firmware of it up to date?

There are quite some logs about startup repair and the memory diagnostics utility. What are the results of the memory diagnostics test and what have you tried in the startup repair?
In the startup repair, please describe with details.

The SSD came with the laptop, it was not added secondary. This was an Xotic build. I have not updated the Firmware for the SSD, but will try that when I get home later.

Every-time I get a BSOD on startup it will reboot, and then go to screen that offers to either startup repair or start windows normally. I tried running the startup repair in this window many times with the BSOD never stopping.

When I run the repair I can watch it go through, then the computer restarts.

I also ran a windows startup from a USB and went through the memory diagnostics and startup repair. I also went through a memory diagnostic a month or two ago for a different BSOD, that I thought was caused by a bad stick of RAM, but as of yet I have been unable to find any issues there.

    Thanks

I have an update on trying the startup repair.

when trying to boot while plugged in to AC power, I get BSOD.

I then restart (as I have auto reboot on failure off).

Once the computer restarts, I get to a menu with normal restart, or startup repair.

When I do a startup repair, I get a window that eventually gets to Problem Even Name: StartupRepairOffline.

    The Code I get is

    Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
    sig 01: 6.1.7600.16385
    sig 02: 6.1.7600.16385
    sig 03: unknown
    sig 04: 15
    sig 05: AutoFailover
    sig 06: 1
    sig 07: NoRootCause
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033

Also, The SSD was already to its latest Firmware

    So...

After some more research, I was able to figure out that my issue was related to my secondary HDD. When I remove it, it boots normal, once I add it back I get BSOD.

I looked into my BIOS and disabled CSM support on boot, and problem solved.

my computer now boots without issue. I am not completely sure what caused it, but this fix worked.
