Ok it looks like that OS partition realy is the C:drive, I was looking through the partition wizzard and there is an option to ,,explore partitions,, and I found my files inside the OS partition. Now I need to figure out how to copy them somewhere.

I tried to acces the OS partition through the ,,files,, folder, you can see it in this pic but I got this this error message afterwards. I have no idea what it means.

Edit: It seems that the OS partition is sometimes called sda2 (idk why), you can tell in this pic, the size is the same as the OS partition, both are 149 GB

edit2: I tried it on fedora too but the result was the same, I could not acces the OS folder, only difference was that on fedora it didnt gave me the error message, I was just stuck with loading icon for like 10sec and then nothing happened http://i.imgur.com/Kpu6KWC.jpg

No not on a regular basis mate but what you see is what you have and I am guessing the Linux based system is telling you it cannot read Windows system stuff.

Just my own theory is that the drive you want to get into is or may be corrupted so that even Ubuntu is reading it wrong .

I don't know what you saw in PW so cannot comment.

Ok so I tried to find something about that error that I got on ubuntu when I tried to acces the OS drive. I found out that this command sudo ntfsfix /dev/sda2 can potentially fix the problem. So I ran it in the terminal And got this message http://i.imgur.com/S4ZpSgm.jpg. The problem is now that I dont even see the OS partition anymore... It used to be here http://i.imgur.com/zGjf6Rn.jpg. I dont know what to do anymore...

Ok that looks more like what I wanted to see as the Ubuntu stuff is really run on command prompt stuff like Linux Mint is and it is really frustrating stuff unless you know what it is meant to be.

Now the machine without wading right back through the thread has it got EUFI BIOS?? The DATA partition in that shot says it is empty and just what shows up when you "Explore" the OS partition as it should have a C: label on that drive. I cannot make out what the small unformatted partition is either as usually it is around 120 - 128MB

While we are fixing the thing can you remove that CD ROM disk too??

I know this one is not from the PW but when I explore the ,,data,, partition in PW only thing I can see are folders like those Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet. As for the OS partition when I explore that one, there is basicaly all my stuff that I had on C:drive

I dont think so since that is my USB key and I can only get into the PW when I boot from it.
