system freezing and BSOD hey so i just switched from my original OS which was vista home premium to windows 7 professional x86 and my computer now freezes randomly the HDD stops flashing. no matter how long i leave it sit it wont come out of it. this usually happens after my computer has been in sleep mode or hibernate. also when you shut down it flashes a screen filled with colored lines (possibly a BSOD) it will flash this for a few seconds then automatically restart. the screen will come up saying that i can start it from safe mode, safe mode with command, or regular. if i select regular and then log in a box comes up saying that an error has occurred and it checks online for solution. i have also had my screen flash and a message comes up that a driver has failed but then its usually fine again. at one point i did a system restore and this has not solved my problem.. does anyone have any idea what my problem could be. please help | My System Specs |
