BSOD (C4) Sometimes on loading windows; previously when playing WoW

As the title says, I have been having C4 BSOD screens where allegedly a driver is doing something is shouldn't. This started originally a nearly 2 weeks ago after the launch of the latest WoW expansion "Legion" while playing the game. My computer didn't seem to like the latest NVIDIA driver 372.70, so I tried some earlier drivers which worked for a while. Any help is greatly appreciated.
[EDIT] I reinstalled NVIDIA drivers and things went well for about 6 or so hours. During that time I played WoW almost constantly with no problems. I then logged out fo the game, noticed things were a little sluggish, so I restarted the computer. After restarting I started to watch a tv show via VLC and 5mins in, another BSOD C4.

Please if there is any other information you need let me know asap. Kindly appreciated.

warning   Warning
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with Driver Booster 3, please remove them as it may cause trouble.

An easy way to get remove these drivers is by using a restore point prior the installation.

Thank you very much for your help, guess there are no short cuts in keeping drivers up to date. I'll do as you say and get back to you if the problem persists.

For keeping motherboard drivers up to date, check Gigabyte support page GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-P67A-UD4-B3 (rev. 1.1)

For GPU drivers, check Nvidia.

For drivers from peripheral, check the manufacturer support page of the device.

Keeping drivers up to date isn't difficult so long as you check the right sources from time to time.
