OK, I will run 4GB only for a week, we will see if BSODs are happening.
PS: I removed Avast and installed MSE, still having problems (2 BSODs).

Please read torchwood post #16 again.

You must start off with a proper activation of Windows 7.
Where you got your system means nothing.

Please complete this tutorial by Brink and post the results here as instructed in the tutorial.Hopefully it will be readable for us English only readers.

Sorry torchwood; I missed the log. Brain fart on my part.

So I guess the next step would be to get a proper activated Windows 7. Or I'm I missing something else.
I hope I'm not having a whole day of brain farts.

Your University is the only one that can provide the correct activation Key.
NO one else,
the website is a link for registered students giving you access to download them, thats all.

The website gives also the key, that I have entered during installation.
You said, that key is proper for the ultimate version - may I install Ultimate using this key?

Winio mate are you sure the university uses Ultimate - seems a tad overkill to me and facilities like that are usually using the Enterprise version unless the system where you live does things differently to most governmental sites I have worked at.

Look at the picture I have posted, here is from the Microsoft Imagine site (I logged on my Univ. account) - Windows 7 x64 professional + key that I used to register. What is more I had no problems with systems from Microsoft Imagine on my previous computer(s), so in my opinion it may be some faulty driver, because hardware is checked and working.
