Black Screen Lockup ONLY when Gaming

    Howdy,

I am using the following machine with all of the stock hardware:
    Samsung NP-RF510
    Access Denied

-exception is that the stock chipset was replaced due to a malfunction

I have been experiencing the following problem for some time:
When playing computer games the screen will go black and the computer will lock up. Whatever sound file that was being played will loop until the computer shuts down (either it times out or I press the power button). The computer ONLY freezes up during games. I have tested the card with 3DMark, leaving it running for hours without issue.

I have attempted the following solutions:
    1) Updated all drivers
    2) Rolled back graphics drivers
    3) Improved cooling (laptop fan)

Thank you to anyone who helps in advance. You all are the best folks on the internet.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am. The problem persists.

I have noticed that the problem spans several different video games and nothing else. I have been unable to cause the PC to crash using video editing software, audio editing software, or other demanding applications. Additionally, the crashing does not seem to be connected in any way to the actual demand on the graphics card. The PC can run several demanding games without issue, but crashes almost immediately when running both newer and older games.

Please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, the current uploaded one misses several logs.
You could check if there are
    1. 18 .txt,
    2. 1 .nfo,
    3. 1 or more .dmp,

files present, if this is the case then all logs are present :)
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required :)

Thank you so much for your help, Axe.

I ran the program again and it created this zip folder containing 28 dump files and nothing else. Have I done something wrong or am I looking in the wrong place perhaps?

Copy and paste following command in an admin command prompt
    Code:
    type %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts >> "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\hosts.txt"&dxdiag /t %Temp%\dxdiag.txt&copy %Temp%\dxdiag.txt "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\"&copy %SystemRoot%\minidump\*.dmp "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\"&driverquery /v > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\drivers.txt"&msinfo32 /nfo "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\msinfo32.nfo"&wevtutil qe System /f:text > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\eventlog.txt"&systeminfo > "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt"
This command should create the following files
    hosts.txt,
    dxdiag.txt,
    *.dmp,
    drivers.txt,
    msinfo32.nfo,
    eventlog.txt,
    systeminfo.txt
Zip these files and upload the zip.

I ran the command you suggested and it popped out the files that I have included in the rar below.

Thank you again for all of the help you have provided so far. Sometimes, it just feels nice to know I'm headed in a direction instead of banging my head against a keyboard.:)
