    BSODs on ancient Toshiba Satellite

It's a Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP2. Can't even boot into Windows now. Started while just using browsers, Firefox and Pale Moon.

Hello SW mate have you tried safe mode?? Now my first thoughts were that it really may not be that the machine is ancient the one I am on right now (Toshiba L550) is only a little later than yours and it plods along as good as gold -mind you I have serviced it well over the years and swapped out the awful spinners they come with.

Which brings me onto thinking maybe the hard drive is failing or even the temps are getting a bit out of whack so if you can get into safe mode please do and if it does then it means the issue is outside the Windows system so to speak.

To check the temp try going into the BIOS it should give you the temps at least.

Now assuming the hard drive may be packing it in I do hope you have your data backed up?? because it might mean replacing it. If so an SSD is the best choice mate.

Just a s aby the by try reseating the hard dive and RAM stick/s.
