Crashes during installation

Hi all,

I was trying to downgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate to Pro when my computer restarts and I cant resume back the installation due to an unexpected error. I installed a new copy of windows 7 now but how do I delete my older windows files and setup rollback to free up my drive C space? and It is safe to do so?
Thank you.

Hi.

Yes, completely safe. You should first look in the Windows.old folder for anything you may want to keep. Copy/paste out of there to a new location.

Then run disk cleanup to remove the Windows.old folder and reclaim space.
