Could be a worm of some sort... could be badly seated RAM or cards, could also be an inadequate or failing PSU for that matter...

I dont have viruses. Computer has been running fine before. I didn't hit it or anything. So its not the ram. Failing PSU? But how? It seems fine.

It shut down then turned back on then off then on then off... When I press the power button, nothing happens. I have to unplug it. It just started happening like 5 min ago.

Get your PSU tested, it sounds like it's giving up the ghost...

Sounds to me, like qdos said, your power supply is either under powered or failing. Is there anything of interest in event viewer?

It has been saying Power-Kernal-processor event ID 35 error. How do I check my PSU?

Everything suggests PSU failure to my ears... you can get it tested at any PC repair shack, and even if it tests OK examine the power requirements of all the onboard components to see whether you might actually need a PSU with more juice than the one you're currently running...

My PSU has been running fine for almost a year. It has plenty of juice. 650 watt.
