nvlddmkm.sys and windows 7 bluescreen

Hi, Im currently using Windows7 32bit ultimate,

and im keep getting nvlddmkm.sys bluescreen and it's annoying as hell.

I guess all of my drivers are work just fine with windows 7, since my laptop are work just fine without nvidia driver(when I installed normal VGA driver), and safemode.

I guess nvidia driver and windows 7 is not very compatible..

Is there any solution for this? or I have to use VGA driver until new driver come out?

I attached my minidump files.

Please help me out please..

Hi and welcome

Just took a quick look at two of the three dumps. Pretty clear memory corruption. I would
download and run memestx86 for serveral hours at least (overnight prefered)
run system file check
type cmd in search>right click and arun as admin> sfc /scannow
let us know the results
if you are overclocking stop
if you have a raid upload its driver
upgrade you r video driver

Thanks for the site!

I will try it today thank you.

But I have a question.

If it is memory corruption problem, why is it working so great without nvidia driver and safemode?

I'm currently using my laptop as normal booting with using VGA driver which means I uninstalled nvidia driver. And it works great without BSOD or any crash.

Is this possible if it is memory corruption or hardware problem?

Thank you so much !!

Run memtest overnight ... once you have resolved that, we can work on your other problem...your video drivers .....

Hi,

I've tested my memory with memtest86 with several hours, and it passes 5times without any errors.

I am so tired of this stupid bluescreen!!

I am not overclocking or anything.

If i go to safemode and install nvidia driver and restart computer, then it crash again with bluescreen.(nvlddmkm.sys error or ntoskrnl.exe and hall.dll error)

What is the problem? should I downgradeto Vista or XP?

With out nvidia driver, my laptop works just fine with VGA driver.

Please help me out thanks.

Please let us know the exact make and model of your laptop.
Also, we'll need to know if you're using 32 bit or 64 bit Windows 7 (from the System applet in Control Panel)

It's possible that the video card is defective - so if it's under warranty you may want to consider having a repair center take a look at it.

I have windows 7 32bit ultimate rtm,
and I have hp pavilion dv2700tv special edition laptop.

Right now, my nvidia driver is not crashing, and it has been working one day so far.

So I will try to format and reinstall my window for possible windows crashing.

And my warranty is out of date..

So If my driver card is defective, it would be painful to pay for motherboard repair... right?

I hope it is not driver card problem.

I will write result after i reinstall my windows 7.

Thanks

If you no longer have a warranty, the easiest thing to do (to determine if it's a hardware problem) is to format the drive and install Windows Vista. Then update Windows through Windows Update and check Device Manager to ensure the drivers are all installed. Do not install anything else (other than an antivirus).

If the system continues to have problems - then hardware or compatibility issues are the most likely issue.
