Do what I told you already.

"Update to latest bios from motherboard site.

Also update this old driver to 2009 version or if unimportant, uninstall it (and the app associated) from the system:

    ASACPI ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005"

If everything else is up to date, then the ASACPI.sys is a very likely cause of bsod. Uninstall it and the app involved with it from the system.

If it's important to the system, update it instead.

It is on you to figure out what it is. It is how you can fix your machine.

If it doesn't fix it, like I said many times, bring the machine to a professional to sort out your RAM timings and voltages.

there is no pros around here just geek squad... and i refuse to take it to them. im better off buying a new machine with the prices they will charge me. the bluescreen just started occuring cause i got new ram bought it ran mem test ran fine, then only read 4 gigs i left the ram in the last slot and thats where it blue screens i can only get it to do it with 1 chip in it and it bluescreen when it wants, so far only 1 ram chip and 1 slot right now its sitting in there and it hasnt blue screened yet. so im finally getting somewhere that im getting my system to crash.

    I hear ya.

I know you want to get your system going well. I'm aware of your efforts and the excellent help you've already received by others, most notably Chev65.

I really don't think slots and placements are the issue. It's motherboard settings to do with timings for specific ram and otherwise I would say.

That and/or the driver I'm saying to update.

So it would be best in a professional's hands if you're unable to alleviate the bsod as you haven't been thus far.

I know it sucks having a pc like that. That's why a pro will set it straight and you'll be done. If you look good enough, you will find one.

That's also why there are system builders with experience building pcs, like Dell etc....and why they are in business to begin with.

This is the memory you want to get because if they're using it successfully on the board, it has to be good. Then, you can follow some things they did to and learn. Your system will be like theirs in the RAM respect. Of course, board and cpu too. And look. Even same video card.

Asus P6T Review Page 8 - Testing (Setup & Overclocking) - Overclockers Club

Return all your old RAM if you can.

I think this is the best way to go for now.
