    well....what can i say, cleared the detections it asked for a reboot to remove the remaining few..... upon fire up the process is gone

    cheers lads, your all worth you weight in gold.... my rig is firing on all cylinders once more.

    Something that remains to be said is that a decent disk imaging program would have saved all this hassle, because you could have simply rolled back to a clean drive image and have written any malware, rootkits, worms or viruses - out of your system.

    If I had to choose between my disk image software, and having an anti-virus or anti-malware suite, it'd be the disk imager which didn't get discarded :)
