BSOD on Cold Boot in Windows 7
Hi I just built a computer a few months ago and loaded vista 64 bit onto it. The computer would blue screen and crash and assumed it was the Vista operating system. I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on my system. The computer works great but I get a bsod then a restart from time to time. Usually its when i do a cold boot. Once i log in then it blue screens. After i restart the computer it works fine for the rest of the day. I thought it might have been the psu so i replaced and i still get the same bsod on a cold boot. Some times if i log into my aol.com account and open an email with a video link to it, it sometimes crashes but thats rare(only happened like once or twice). We have been leaving the computer on all night and have been avoiding the bsod. (only one in the last 7 days because we had to turn if off then turn it back on)
I have a Core 2 quad 2.5ghz,h 4 gigs of ddr3, 1 tb western digital hd, and a NVIDIA geforce 9400gt graphics card with and intel motherboard.
