BSOD - Unexpected Shutdown Win 7 Pro 64

I recommended that in another completely similar case and was ridiculed for it. lol

Alright... last couple questions for now guys....

1. I am resetting my memory numbers into the bios per OCZ's instruction the other day. However, they told me to manually enter a 'timing' of 9:9:9:28 under a certain heading and darn if I can remember how I got to it. My Motherboard is an ASUS P6T Deluxe. Any idea where/what heading I enter that timing string into?
2. Why would my system have 'locked up' like that overnight? Should I totally disable "sleep" mode....it seems like that might be causing me some glitches throughout this thread?
3. Being I cleared my CMOS... do I have to go through my bios and change a bunch of other info? Does clearing the CMOS wipe all the bios settings?

UPDATE -

Well, I have discovered that one of the big issues with the BSOD's is (in addition to invoking the changes suggested here) canceling out of the "sleep" and "hibernate" modes in Windows 7. Since doing this... I have not had a single BSOD or other aberrant behavior since last posting.... So, in particular, I have changed my sleep/powersaving settings to NEVER shut down my hard drive or put it into hibernate/sleep mode. This seems to have been a contributing factor in the crashes.
