    Random freezes

I got a problem, my computer just randomly freeze. No matter what I'm doing, playing games, surfing the internet, moving files on my hard disk or just re-arranging the icons on my desktop.

When it freezes I cant do anything, except moving my mouse and all my programs get "Not Responding". After one minute everything is normal again. This happens once a day, or ten times an hour.

When I first got this problem I had overclocked my computer. But the first thing I did was install Windows 7 again, that did not solve the problem. Then I took away my overclocking, reset everything to default plus I took one of my RAM (1GB Crucial Ballistix) bricks out. It still doesn't work.

    Hi.

Uninstall AVG or any other antivirus you have. Disabling will not help. Let us know how it goes after.

(10:1 says you have AVG. Am I right?)

After I installed Windows again I haven't installed any anti-virus software.

    I don't have P5Q Pro Turbo, only P5Q Pro.

Should I download drivers here then?

Intermittent freezing usually points to a harddrive problem of some sort. You should inspect your sata cables or replace the one going to your harddrive. If that doesn't help you should run a harddrive test to determine if it's still good.

You should put the Ram back in the board also.

My computer just froze now, I was watching a youtube video. But it was a different freeze, I couldn't do anything, not even move my mouse, nothing. It lasted for about 20 seconds :/
