    Plz Help..Comp crashes on running games


    Hey Everybody,
    plz help! my comp keeps crashing whenever i run a high ram using game or application(runs smooth when idle or just playing itunes!)..It also Doesn't boot correctly and keeps getting restarted while booting and after half a dozen times(or more) it starts..i have XFX 8500 GT PCI-E card..this problem is not occuring when i removed the graphic card..is this the problem with the graphic card..?? how can i check this..?? I AM OUT OF WARRANTY..So plz help:)

    Your graphic card if overheating you need to get better cooling or need to clean it.

    Thanks for replying Crispy..but i checked the Temp. using everest..its showing 56 C..which is normal temp..

    Look at the card's capacitors. Are the tops flat instead of round? Is there anything leaking from them at all?

    There aren't any physical leaks or damages..my pc freezes even when use an app like X Videoconverter..but it works perfectly when i remove the graphic card..Thanks for ur time...

    And i have never got BSOD..it only freezes and starts making a loud (keee..!!) noise..!!
    I got BSOD in xp always..

    Did you install the latest video card driver from NVIDIA's site for it?
